Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use this website or order from it. By placing an order you agree to them. HeartCraftedStudio is a brand of Quavento Technologies, the seller.

Orders

• Every piece is made to order. An order is confirmed when its payment has arrived; we may decline or cancel an order we cannot fulfil, and will refund everything paid.
• You are responsible for the details you give us: spellings, dates, photographs and the delivery address.
• Where a piece needs a design proof, making starts after you approve it. An approved proof is the final word on what will be made.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in Indian rupees and include GST. Delivery and gift wrap charges are shown before you confirm an order.
• You pay on the payment page of our payment provider, Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go to them and are never stored by us.
• Cash on delivery: you pay an advance online, shown before you confirm the order, to confirm it. The advance is not refundable if you cancel. The rest is paid in cash when the order is delivered.
• We may change prices at any time, but not for an order already placed.
• If a price is shown wrongly by an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund it.

Handmade pieces

Pieces are made by hand and will vary slightly from the photographs and from one another in colour, texture and placement. These variations are not defects.

Words and pictures you give us

You confirm that you have the right to use any names, text, logos and photographs you ask us to put on a piece, and that they are not unlawful, offensive or someone else's protected work. We may decline wording or images we are not comfortable making.

Cancelling an order

You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. After that it cannot be cancelled, because every piece is made by hand for you. This does not affect your rights if we cannot make or deliver an order, or if a piece is damaged, wrong or faulty. See cancellations and payment.

Wallet, cashback and gift cards

Wallet money is shop credit that can be spent on this website only. It cannot be withdrawn as cash or transferred. Cashback is added after the cancellation window, lapses after 90 days, and is not given or is taken back if the order is cancelled or refunded. Gift card codes work once. We may refuse or reverse credit obtained by misuse. The full rules are on the wallet, cashback and gift cards page, which forms part of these terms.

Our content

The designs, photographs, text and artwork on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use.

Liability

We take care in making and sending every order. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, write to us first and we will try to put it right. Disputes that cannot be settled that way are subject to the courts with jurisdiction over the place where the business is registered.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to an order is the one published when it was placed.
