Privacy policy

This page explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, what we do with it and the choices you have. HeartCraftedStudio is a brand of Quavento Technologies, which is responsible for your information.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and phone number, and your sign-in through email and password or Google.
• Order details: delivery and billing addresses, what you ordered, the names, dates, messages and photographs you give us to personalise a piece, and a GSTIN if you provide one.
• Payment details: we record how an order was paid and whether payment succeeded. You pay on the payment provider's own page (Razorpay), and card, UPI and bank details are handled by them and are never stored by us.
• Wallet, cashback and gift cards: your wallet balance, a record of each change to it (cashback, gift card codes you redeem, wallet money used or returned), and the offers an order earned.
• Chat with Srushti: when you use the chat assistant, your messages are sent to Google's Gemini service to produce a reply. Please do not type card numbers, passwords or other private details into the chat. We keep only counts of use and, if you press "Not helpful", that question and answer with emails, phone numbers and order numbers hidden, for up to a year.
• Messages: what you send through the contact and corporate enquiry forms, and your email address if you join the newsletter.
• Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

• To make and deliver your order and to contact you about it.
• To show you a design proof and record your approval.
• To issue invoices and keep the business records the law requires.
• To answer your questions and enquiries.
• To send our newsletter, only if you asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud and misuse of the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share only what is needed with the services that help us run the shop: courier partners (name, address and phone number, to deliver your parcel), the payment provider (to take payment), and Google Firebase, which hosts this website and stores its data. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and storage on your device

We use a cookie to keep you signed in. Your bag and wishlist are saved in your browser's storage so that they are still there when you come back. We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages and products are looked at and bought, but only if you press Accept on the cookie notice; until then it stores nothing on your device. It receives your IP address and the pages you open, but not your name, address or what you personalise. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page. We do not use advertising cookies.

Photographs and personalisation

Photographs and wording you send us are used only to make your order and to show you its proof. We do not use them in advertising or on social media without asking you first.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Your choices and rights

• You can see and correct your name and phone number in your account.
• You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Records we must keep by law are retained.
• You can withdraw consent for the newsletter at any time.
• If you have a complaint about how your information is handled, write to us and we will reply within a reasonable time, as required by India's data protection law.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Significant changes are also announced on the site.
